Kelly Clarkson Clears Up Wedding Rumors
Kelly Clarkson fueled some rumors that her romance with Blake Shelton's manager, Brandon Blackstock, was in trouble when she called a halt to her wedding several weeks ago.

After months of planning a big wedding that was becoming increasingly more complicated and difficult, the couple have opted to elope.

Kelly tells us that family -- other than her soon-to-be stepkids -- won't even be in attendance at the private nuptials:

"It's me and Brandon and his two kiddos and my best friend's going, Ashley, just because she does my hair and makeup as well, and it's all the people that have to be there for it to go on. Like, it's really that -- the minister -- and it's really just a super small thing, and why we decided to do it is, one, I was like, 'You know what? This is such a big thing, and we don't even want the wedding.

I was like, 'Why don't we for once . . .' like especially in my life, everything's in the limelight. Like, everything's for everybody else. Like, I always am that person, so why don't I just take this and be selfish and it be our moment and it be our one thing that's not for everybody else, you know, and we're still having a wedding, and we have our videographer there and our photographer, and we're still putting together a package for our family and friends and stuff to see what went on and everything, but our family and our real friends, nobody got mad. But it was the best decision ever!"

Kelly says that her famous step-mother-in-law-to-be was very supportive of the couple's decision, considering that Reba and her husband/manager, Narvel Blackstock, eloped when they were on tour many years ago.
